BK Food Pyramid - Women's Graphic T-Shirt

Item: 1420411-033

An artist series by Jenny Mörtsell illustrating the Brooklynites true diet, or as Mörtsell eloquently put it, the "I-make-my-own-hours-creative-class-on-wheels" type of people. Bottom of the food chain are your basic carbs, essential after burning countless calories from biking over bridges after dancing the night away at some epic Bushwick loft party. Next up and to the right of the chain are your beverages, which more often than not end up as a substitute for "real" food. These beverages consist only of locally-brewed craft beers, single-region drip-coffee to wake you up, and of course, mimosas and margaritas. To the left of the beverages are your veggies, or really just kale, the Mother Theresa of foods, Brussel sprouts, and pickles. Above these two essential categories are your "trying-to-erase-all-of-our-sins" section, aka kombucha, coconut water, and juice cleanse mixes to cleanse all the boutique sweet treats consumed because you have to support that local ma and pa bakery, right? And finally, the category that tops this "self-made freelancer's diet," as Mörtsell so aptly describes, is one-dollar oysters during happy hour because, well...priorities.

Printed locally on our super soft, burnout boyfriend tee. Made in the USA.
