SO WHAT’S IT REALLY LIKE?
The BKI home office is located in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Our Headquarters employees work in an open loft space with incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and the Manhattan skyline.
Most BKI Industrialists launch their careers in one of our 14 retail locations. Our stores are designed to inspire our customers, while providing cool and stimulating spaces for our employees to develop. Brooklyn Industries’ stores are unique places where teamwork, enthusiasm, and openness are clearly evident. All BKI Industrialists receive an on-site orientation and a tour of the home office on their first day. Our retail employees receive hands-on training that occurs over their first week of employment. In addition, we offer continuous development opportunities including:

We believe a key component to your development and success is clear, constructive feedback, so we have structured our reviews process to provide just that. Performance evaluations occur twice a year and include a self-evaluation and an assessment by your direct manager. Salary increases happen simultaneously with reviews, so that means you have the potential to get a merit increase twice in one year!
